I have always been the indoor type and even when I was in the University of Lagos, I never went to clubs or things like that.

Maintaining that he does not feel threatened by any of his label mates, the Katapot singer said,

“The only thing I can say we have among us is healthy competition. We encourage ourselves to do well and we’re one big happy family. We also advise ourselves on how to do better and we constantly look out for one another’s progress.”

“Being A Babymama Is Better Than Being A Wife” - Nollywood Actress, Reveals Why She Doesn’t Wear Bra

Delectable Yoruba Actress, Feyisara Hassan, 24, has categorically stated that being a babymama is better than being a wife. She says she believes being a babymama is good, and more peaceful than being a wife.

She made this declaration in an Interview with Vanguard.

Excerpts Below:

Many Yoruba actresses are babymamas; what can make you become a babymama?

What most people don’t know is that being a babymama is even better than being a wife. Frankly, I am not against any woman opting to be a babymama, in fact I believe it is good and more peaceful. Being a babymama you enjoy the father of your baby more than if he were your husband.

You can have access to him whenever and wherever you want without any family pressures or restrictions. When you are a wife, there are limitations and restrictions and there’s little room for heartaches. More women are opting to be babymamas because their lives are more peaceful and enjoyable.

Feyisara also revealed she’s not a fan of wearing bra.

You once said you don’t wear bra, can you explain why?

Yes, I don’t wear bras because I don’t feel comfortable with it but I do wear it now because my man is not comfortable with my not wearing it. I guess it is because of my sexy boobs.

But they are not big?

They may not be big but they are very special. They are one of the most beautiful parts I love in my body. Medium boobs are sexy and more attractive than the big ones. All kinds of boobs are good though but mine are more attractive and sexy.

What’s your take on sex generally?

In my opinion and experience, sex is best experienced within a committed relationship where two people have agreed to be exclusive with each other and to explore their sexualities together.

This doesn’t have to be within marriage. However, in my opinion, relationships should not exist solely to provide a means for sex. Relationships should be a beautiful tapestry, of which sex is one piece. And within that relationship, sex should only exist with an incredible amount of communication.

The communication should be about when people are ready for different stages of sex, what people like and dislike in sex, and at the core of all this communication should be consent.

Our society talks about and does consent very poorly (which is why we have such a high rate of sexual violence).

Romantic!! JJC Reveals How He Met And Proposed To Funke Akindele, Her ‘Beef’ with Toyo Baby, And More In An Interview

JJC reveals

Last year, Nollywood Actress, and creator of the Jenifa Diary, Funke Akindele, married her hearthrob, Abdul Rasheed Bello popularly known as JJC Skillz in a private ceremony that held in the United Kingdom.

In this new interview with Goldenpearlmedia, JJC opened up on how he met and toasted Funke, how his children accepted their step mom.. He also talked about the “silent beef” between his wife Funke and Toyo Baby, amongst other things. Read the Full interview below:

What’s new about JJC Skillz?
Well, i’m now officially a music video and film director. For the past few years, I have been telling people that I was about to move into Nollywood, but they didn’t believe me. I have made that come through; i’m now of the directors of Jenifa’s Dairy.

I shot all London scenes and now we are back to Nigeria, still doing it. I’m one of the brains behind an upcoming TV series; Industreet. It was produced by my wife, Funke Akindele Bello.

We came up with the concept of creating a story around the entertainment industry in Nigeria.

I’m also part owner of the SOP music label that has four new acts. We are planning lot of movies this year, so you can see my hands are full.

You have always been a music artiste, now you have soared to a movie director, label owner, producer, etc, has this always been your dream?

To be honest I studied TV and Video Production in school. When I wanted to go to school, I couldn’t because I was a JJC. Later I went on to take on MVQ course; which is like a work training course. I studied TV and Video Productions. I left that course with 9 As. So, every department of that course, from script writing, directing, all, I did it so passionately, I came out with distinctions.

After I was done with the course and because of my grade, I was able to get a job with an amazing advertisement company. I was their assistant editor and worked there for 2 years. So, I have background in entertainment, directing, editing, it’s what I studied and it’s now my profession. But I left all that for music.

What’s the concept behind Industreet?

I have 20 years of experience in the music entertainment industry, and I believe nobody has been able to tell the story of African music scene. I was there in the beginning. So, I want the world to know what’s really going on behind the scene in Nigerian entertainment industry.

Is it like your true life story?

Not really. It’s the story of the betrayals, the rise and fall, the success, failures and lots more. It’s a story of a group of young people who gathered together to form a label, the SOP records. When you watch you’ll understand how the street took over the industry, that’s why we called it Industreet.

How much of your personal story is in Industreet?
I’ll about 70 percent of some of my life story was infused into the story line, because it was a passion project. I actually came up with this idea in 2009, and I shot about half and hour pilot of it. It was like a tester of the proposed TV show.

When will Industreet premiere?

It’s will premiere on May 19, 2017. That’s the day of the launch. Then a week after, they can watch it on our website. Even Jenifa’s Diary can be watched on the scene one App.

Since you got married, it seems you took a break from making your own music?

My own music is on hold, because I needed to focus on this great opportunity that came to my doorsteps. Jenifa’s Diary is a big project, you can see we have been winning awards here and there. We as a family, have our hands full already in different productions.

What challenges do you often face, doing all these; production, directing, music, etc?

It’s not just productions, we have our own website; www.sceneone.tv. And it’s also an App. Our focus is to create the content and dish it out to people out there. It hasn’t been easy, but God has been there for us.

The scripture said ‘When you find a wife, you find a good thing’, can you relate to that?

Of course, he who findeth a wife, findeth a good thing and obtained favour from the Lord. Most times, as a single man, you carry almost all your burdens alone. You’d have to worry about what you eat, and my cooking Skillz it’s not really that fantastic. But when I found my wife, I knew I had found my better-half. Now, when I think about things, I share it all with my wife. We wake up from same bed in morning and head to our field, because we are both into entertainment. She’s the actress, script writer, i’m the director, editor. She’s very hard working, in fact I don’t know anyone like us in this industry; she works day and night. We wake up every single day, with the mind set of making ourselves happy.

Funke, like you we all know is a very busy woman, does she still have time to cook for you?

Why not? It is said that the best way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. Definitely, she cooks amazingly, but I told her to stop, so she can get enough rest. Most times, she would insist, because she wants to take care of her man. But I always insist, as we now have chefs.

Was it her cooking Skillz that attracted you to her?

My wife is a fantastic cook, she’s an amazing woman, everything about her attracted me to her. It’s not only one thing that attracts a man to a woman, but definitely, the cooking Skillz is a plus and my wife has it all. I would want to eat her meals for the rest of my life.

What’s her favourite dish for you?

Oh! Thats Ewedu and pounded yam; that’s number one. That food always sweep me off my feet, and i’d ask her, if she added ‘something’ extra to it. She’s loving, caring, hard working, she’s all a man could ever ask for.

So, how does it feel being married to a popular actress?

To be honest, I lived the better part of my life in the UK, so I didn’t really know who Funke Akindele was. When I met her, I just met someone that wanted a director for her TV show; Jenifa’s Diary. That was in 2013. We have been going on for a long time, people just found out in 2016.
We were very low key, because we are two popular people in the entertainment industry, so we have to protect our privacy.

How did you manage to hide it from the public eyes for so long?

Just like our wedding and our privates lives, we just have to keep it away from the public eyes. We already have so much out there on social media and people end up, blowing it out of proportion.

How did you meet Funke Akindele?

She wanted someone to direct her TV series, then I was about to embark on recording the JJC album then. Her sister introduced us, because she knew I was into music video directing.

So, when I met her, I told me she did a movie sometime ago and would like to turn it into a TV series. We started working together and preparing for the shoot, then one thing led to another. Here we are today, the rest is history. We just clicked.

Would you say, it was love at first sight?

Well, I would say so, because first time I saw her, I was wowed. She also told me that, when she first saw me, she went ‘Wow’. We tried to keep the whole work as professional as possible but along the line, emotions ran high.

How did you propose to her? On your knees, romantic date or just casual question?

I’m definitely a romantic person, so I gave her a dose of it. It wasn’t in an open place, because only very few people knew as at then.

So, that very day, she came home to meet flowers, candles everywhere; quite a romantic set up. When she saw it, she had no choice than to say ‘Yes’.

Were you afraid, she would say No?

Well, we had a very wonderful, beautiful relationship, but to be honest, I had proposed to her earlier and she laughed at me. I think that was a week after we met. I was like ‘I have never met anyone like you, marry me’. And she just laughed at me. And then, I promised that, that she would be my wife. I play around a lot, but then, I meant it.

You are both celebrities, in the media eyes, how do you succeed in maintaining your private life?

Private life, work life, we take it all one day at a time. We don’t worry about outsiders and what they would think, we just do us. Every single day, we have our prayers and talk about how the day would go. It’s quite a unique and complimentary relationship and i’m enjoying every bit of it.

Who apologies first when you both have little marital issues?

My wife would say, that she apologies first, but I refuse because I know I apologize first. Most times, we apologize at the same time. No relationship or marriage is perfect, so such things are normal. I’ll get upset, she’ll get upset, we later apologize to each other and let it slide. In fact, we hardly do find ourselves in such situations.

However, the important thing is not to carry over any arguments or misunderstanding to the next day. We are now family, so we help each other grow.

We both have had our own fair share of horrible relationship experiences, so we appreciate each other a whole lot. We value our love and hold it tight. A lots of people in the world are looking at us with envy, while some are hoping and praying that one day, we would break up. We are going to disappoint them because we try to hard to keep ourselves in check, encourage ourselves and most importantly, pray for ourselves.

When would the kids start coming?
Soon! God’s time is the best. We are working on it.

How did your kids accept their new step mum?

Well, before we got married in London, we all had a good relationship here in Nigeria. The kids were always seeing this beautiful woman around daddy, and always make him happy. They might be away and in different continent, but they are part of our daily activities. She is also very close to them, they met her digital first. They didn’t know she is an actress then, because in the UK, they hardly watch Nigerian movies, but they love so much. They all love each other. It’s a perfect blend.

I remember my daughter telling me, ‘Dad make sure you marry her. She’s a keeper”. And I did, I followed my daughter’s advice.

One of my songs, Save The Last Dance’ was written for my wife, she really saved the last dance for me.

Last year, it was reported that you had a fracas with your cousin, Mr. Moe Musa, because of Funke Akindele, that Moe had to move out of your house, what really happened?

Those who instigated such reports are very stupid! People just say and publish whatever they want without proper investigations and still get away with it.

Mr. Moe Musa as at then moved to the next block after mine. I lived in block H, while he is in block G. I spoke with the agents that got him the apartment and he moved in. He used to be in a room in my 3 bedroom apartment, so when my relationship, got serious, he moved on.

That’s not even the main reason. Moe has been in Nigeria then for almost 6 months, so he felt it was time to get his own place.

To be honest, when you first relocate to Nigeria, you’ll find it very hard to stay alone because you don’t understand the system yet. The way things work in Nigeria are different from the way it work in other countries. Moe stayed with me for a while, so he could get used to the Nigerian system. How to get food, how Generator works and other confusing stuffs.

Days ago, Jenifa Diary actor, Toyosi reportedly left the productions after a misunderstanding with Funke and all fingers were pointing at you, what really happened?

I don’t know why Toyosi left and it has nothing to do with me. Just like any character in a TV series, she can go and return. The only permanent character in the series is Jenifa. Falz has gone and came back. In the script Toyosi is married and has gone to France with her husband to live for a while. So, anything can happen. When she comes back, you’d see her on screen, if not, then that’s what the script said.

But it was also reported that Funke un-followed her on social media…..true?

Well, I don’t know about that. I’m not 100 percent sure of that. I’ll have to check Instagram to find out about that.

‎Funke Akindele turned into a singer, just to surprise you on your birthday, how does that make you feel?
It was awesome. My wife and the SOP team wowed me. I noticed that whenever I come into the studio they all looked funny. They even sent me on a fools errand, just to shoot a video for me, under my nose. I really didn’t see it coming.

I woke up that day, to see all of them wearing a t-shirt for me, sang for me and a whole lot. It made me really happy. I thank God, I have my best friend as a wife, then the best team ever! I’m indeed so lucky.

It Really Happened!! Kemi Olunloyo Warned Mercy Aigbe Of Possible Marriage Crash In 2016

Controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, who has been silent for sometime now after being imprisoned for one of controversial posts, once warned Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe of a possible marriage crash.

Kemi who advised the actress to spend more time with her husband in 2016, wrote;

"hnnafrica #HNNStyle @MercyAigbeGentry is a talented #Nollywood star with a flair for "online glamour". Nothing wrong with glamming yourself up for your fans. Most Nigerian actresses are narcissistic females to begin with and I'm a certified narcissist myself. Many Nigerian females are fake and can't even define their own personalities but look up to female stars and want to be like them. This is why I insist I'm NOT and will never be a role model.

I have mentored many kids but never want any of them to "be like me". There are attributes of me some parents don't like yet they want their kids to be me. I'm outspoken, blunt and keep it real. Most women in Nigeria are not but stay as solid mumus. There is only one #KemiOlunloyo . Last month I warned Mercy in a post that she's gonna end up like @TokeMakinwa if she doesn't limit her glam posts online.

Honestly your husband is out there Mercy. #MajeAyida was busy elsewhere while Toke was glamming up the Gram. Mercy shows off her phone case engraved with her image, something her fans will be thirsting for too. They log on fast to see the latest fashion sense. Its nice to be addicted to celebs.

Even I as a media celebrity in US/Canada have now become the top media celebrity in Nigeria still has my own fave celeb @aihmakhuolutoyin. Spend more time with your husband Mercy. I'm seeing things you don't see. They call me the #Snitchlady. *winks*..and stay beautiful young lady. #advice #hnnshowbiz #hnnbeauty #MadamHNN"

Sex Scandal: Childhood Friend Exposes Stephanie Otobo’s Dirty Secrets

Childhood Friend Exposes Stephanie Otobo

A former close friend of Stephanie Otobo, Miss Yvonne Ogiamien has revealed the character behind Miss Stephanie Otobo, the canadian-based singer who has been dragging and blackmailing Apostle Johnson Suleiman, President of Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide to filth with claims of romance and infidelity.

In a telephone chat with Journalists, Yvonne spoke about some intimate secrets of Stephanie, her life in Sapele before she relocated to Canada.

Meanwhile, in a new video that has gone viral on the social media, four ladies claiming to be close friends of Stephanie Otobo, claimed that Otobo’s allegations are all lies and that she was known for her fake and indecent lifestyle..

Excerpts as reported by NAIJ.com

How long have you known Stephanie?

We were childhood friends but I travelled to Canada after I got married about 10 years ago but she came in here few years back.

How close are you two?

We were close enough that sometimes she stays over with my family here in Toronto.

You were? Are you no longer friends?

Certainly not! Not after all this mess.

Mess? Ok, we will get back to that. But do you know a little or few things about her private life?

Sure! We shared information up till when she was to travel to Nigeria in January, though I had my reservations about her lifestyle.

Did she at any time mention her relationship with Apostle Johnson Suleman?

Yeaaa! That was about 2015. She told me and a few other friends how she got the number of the preacher from one of the church members here in Toronto. How she called the man for prayers and also pleaded for financial help. She told us how generous the man was and how the man assisted her without ever meeting her.

Was that all, she told you?
That was all. She told me each time the man of God sent some money to her about two or three occasions with a stern warning that she should quit her way of life.

What do you have to say about the allegations by Stephanie that she was in a relationship with Apostle Johnson Suleiman?

Of course not! That ain’t possible! We were always watching the man and his preaching’s on YouTube uptill early this year. Can a girl be in a relationship with someone she hasn’t met? Maybe, she was obsessed with the man of God. I have known Stephanie since her days in Sapele. What I know for certain is that she is not new to controversies. At some point, I felt she was possessed because she was good at scamming and twisting stories with so much finesse. Stephanie would do anything for money.

Are you saying the allegations might be false?

If it were someone else, I would have said there can’t be smoke without fire. But in Stephanie’s world, there can be smoke without fire. This is why I can say on good authority that it is a fat lie because of her antecedent. I know her so so well. For example, Stephanie started courting controversies from as early as the age of 15. She came in here as a student, through a phony admission syndicate in America from where she migrated to Canada. That is Stephanie for you. She would go to any length to make ends meet, including blackmail and extortion.

Are you by chance inferring that the allegations on Apostle Johnson Suleman are false?

As much as I know, If Stephanie was ever in a relationship, I and our other friends would know. She will flaunt it. Not this type she now claimed she made good money from. £8,000, €10,000 etc? Stephanie made all that money and she is still squatting in Canada? How is that possible? We were all bemused to hear and read in the press that she lost her house and cars owing to Apostle Suleman’s failed promise to marry her. This is absolute falsehood and wickedness as Stephanie never had a house. The only time she had an apartment for a few months was when she lied to a lawyer last year that she was pregnant and the man hired a condo for her in Toronto. But when he found out that she was not pregnant, he ejected her. Is that the same house Apostle made her lose?

Can you describe Stephanie Otobo?

Stephanie is a smart girl. And a coarse one as such. She knows how to play her cards. And it is unfortunate that she took the game to a dangerous level by involving Apostle Johnson Suleman. I want to suspect she was looking for something from the man of God and it didn’t work out. Maybe she was obsessed about the man of God, who knows? If not, how would a woman be talking about having an amorous relationship with someone she hasn’t met? Only last year, Stephanie was sleeping with a man called Ola who was said to be genuinely in love with her until she messed him up. She allegedly took his money, promised to marry him but dumped him after breaking the relationship. In return, I gathered that the said Mr. Ola made a video of Stephanie, including clips of her stealing his money. The video was handed to the pastor of their church during testimony time prompting her to flee and stop attending the church. Before leaving town, she temporarily teamed with another lover and together they reportedly engaged in several scams, including Internet fraud. But the bubble burst when her partner was caught and jailed for fraud. Having acquired a negative reputation in Toronto, Stephanie moved to Vancouver where she topped her game by joining so many dating sites. It was also in that city she became a stripper.

But why do you think she is doing all these?

What I can say for certain is that Stephanie does not do anything except for the money. I know for sure that, that is what played out in this case. She probably saw an opportunity and wanted to grab it or was lured into it by some folks in Nigeria who didn’t like the Apostle’s face but it backfired, unfortunately. I am so ashamed on her behalf.

She just released a gospel song entitled “I depend on God”. Don’t you think she may have given her life to God?

Hahahahaha…what the world expected her to release was a confession video or a video of an open apology to the man of God and the body of Christ as a sign of repentance. The prayer of an unrepentant sinner is an abomination before God.

Woman Spends N10m Transforming Herself To A Barbie Doll.. And She Gets The Perfect Looks (Photos)

Woman spends N10m transforming
Ophelia Vanity has totally succeeded in making herself look like a barbie doll.. She has been getting regular Boto and Lip fillers, and of course spends up to 3 hours a day to apply make-up.
Sun UK reports that she has spent more than £27,000 transforming herself into a human Barbie.

Now she wants rib removal surgery and breast implants to give her the plastic toy’s trademark hourglass figure. The 30-year-old from Los Angeles said:

“I’ve always been into Barbie. As a kid, I’d get a doll every Christmas or birthday. I had a dozen or so and would play with them all the time.

“I loved her aesthetic, and as I got older, I decided I wanted to emulate her. She’s such an iconic character.”

A far cry from her current appearance, Ophelia spent her teens dressing as a goth – wearing black clothing and heavy make-up.

“Even when I had black hair, people would say I looked doll-like,” said Ophelia, who funds her beauty habit with a string of odd jobs, including PA and modelling work.
“I think it’s my eyes, which are naturally large. But I wanted a change, so decided to go fully blonde. Now, I have my hair bleached every two months.”
Ophelia estimates she’s spent around £27,670 on her transformation – and she doesn’t plan to stop any time soon.

“I have a full list of surgeries I’d like done, although I don’t have anything lined up at the moment,” she said.
“I’d love breast and bum implants, but I need to save money and make sure I find the right doctor.
“I’d also love either four or six ribs removed, like Pixie Foxx, a model who had the surgery a little while ago.

“I wouldn’t go quite as extreme as her, but aesthetically, she’s an inspiration.”

Ophelia can spend up to three hours a day painstakingly applying makeup, using clever tricks to alter the shape of her face.

Though her eyes are naturally large, she wears contact lenses to enhance them, boosting the size of her iris from 13.5cm to 16.2cm.

“I don’t go full Barbie every day. If I’m just popping to the shops, I won’t wear any makeup,” Ophelia, who also wears a 22” waist corset to give her Barbie’s iconic hourglass figure, explained.
“But when I’m fully dressed up, which I do if I’m going to events or parties, I do get stopped and recognised on the streets of Hollywood.
“People are usually really positive, and want to talk to me or take pictures.
“If I’m fully dressing up, I’ll pick a Barbie-like outfit, too. Pink is my favourite colour. My whole wardrobe is basically pink dresses and heels.”

With the support of her friends and family, Ophelia, who is single, set up an Instagram account, showing off her look to the world – resulting in her building up 36,000 followers.

But while most love her look, she has sadly fallen victim to the odd cruel comment.

“There is a lot of cyberbullying out there,” she explained.
“I’ve been called ugly or had people say I’m delusional for wanting to look like Barbie.
“I’m not hurting anyone, though. I know I shouldn’t put too much into these people hiding behind a screen, but I’m still human so it does hurt.
“I always ignore them. I know they just want a rise. If they really hated me, they’d look away.”

Revealed!! N3,000 Led To Toyo Baby’s Removal From ‘Jenifa’s Diary’ By Funke Akindele

According to reports by TNS

TNS can confirm that Funke Akindele and Juliana Olayode, who plays Toyo Baby on Jenifa’s Diary, have parted ways.

According to our sources, Funke Akindele removed Toyo Baby from the series over what the latter termed ‘bad pay’.

The source revealed that Toyo Baby was cut off from the widely watched TV series for requesting an increment in pay which didn’t go well with Funke Akindele who feels she’s an ingrate being that Olayode rose to stardom through her appearance on the widely-watched show.

Sources close to SceneOneProductions, producers of Jenifa’s Diary, further revealed to TNS that the producer of the show, Funke Akinkele via her production manager and younger sister – Abimbola – pays actors between N3,000 and N150,000 (per episode/season of the show) depending on the role.

An actress who spoke to TNS under the condition of anonymity via text message narrated how she was paid what she termed ‘peanuts’ by Akindele’s team after being part of an all-night party scene on Jenifa’s Diary.

I got a text message from Sceneone Productions that I had been selected to act on Jenifa’s Diary and I will be part of a party scene. I was so excited that I told my entire family about it. Mind you, it wasn’t my 1st time acting but d feeling of being on Jenifa’s diary was a big deal for me. I was asked to come with 5 different party costumes. Location was Amen Estate, Eleko. After filming with over 30 girls the whole night, Funke came to address us and advice that money shouldn’t be our priorities at this stage; that was when it occurred to me that something awkward was about to happen….just then, the Production Manager, Mr Osmond whispered something to Funke’s sister, Abimbola & she started paying us each 3K. Can u imagine?, 3K for all night shoot!…on Jenifa’S dIARY!… I was so mad, some of us had to turn down the money shaa….couldn’t face my mom to explain to her wat happened the next morning.

According to our findings, actors Lota Chukwu, Omotunde Lolo 1, Falz D Bahd Guy (who has also left the show) and Olayode are the highest paid actors who take home 150k per season. The rest take home much lesser money.

Stars like Tiwa Savage, Toke Makinwa and others who have had cameo appearances on the show reportedly got between 100k and 300k for ‘showing face’.

You will also note that Juliana was absent at events and parties that held at Funke’s house in Lekki.

Funke and Juliana have also unfollowed each other on their social media accounts.
