Vigilante Men Arrest Fulani Gunmen With Weapons Going To Delta From Taraba (Photos)


According to reports,7 Fulani gunmen in possession of arms at Azagba Ogwashi were arrested on Wednesday 22nd February at about 5:00am by Men of the Anioma Security Watch Network Vigilante group Azagba Ogwashi unit.

The vigilante members stopped a trailer conveying the Fulani gunmen,load of cows & their luggage at Azagba Junction.The suspected Fulani gunmen were  interrogated and the following weapons were found in their possession:

1. Seven Den Guns 
2. Gun powder
3. Some catrages 
4. Charms
5. Swords and cutlasses
6. Daggers and one battle axe

According to the Chairman of the Vigilante,the Fulani gunmen said they came all the way from Taraba State to Isselegu in Ndokwa East Local Government, Delta State.

Thee Divisional Police Officer, Ogwashi-uku, Mr Shuaibu was alerted.He sent his men to the scene of the incident. He equally called the Chief security officer, the Executive Chairman of Aniocha South LG, Hon (Chief) Isaac Ozo Anwuzia who applauded them and appreciated their effort and he also assured them of his usual support.

Man Killed By Fulani Herdsmen In A Forest In Southern Kaduna (Graphic Photos)



I don't know how true is this story but according to SpectaScope Nigeria(the page that first shared photos of the daughter of LG chairman killed by Fulani herdsmen in Southern Kaduna),the man pictured above was killed in Agwan Masara forest in Kaduna by Fulani herdsmen on January 26.Below is the narration of the story....

'Seth Auta was killed by Fulani herdsmen on the 26th January 2017 in Agwan Masara forest southern Kaduna.

He died a hero fighting in self defense and for his religion.

May his gentle soul rest in peace AMEN'

Ohorhor Women Barricade Delta Over Fulani Killings (Photos)



Many travelers were stranded while commercial and social activities were brought to a halt  following the blockage of East-West Road by protesting women from Ohorhor community, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State over what they called incessant killing, raping and other attacks on indigenes of the community by armed Fulani herdsmen.

Women from Ohorhor community, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State in the earlier ours of today took to the streets to protest over invasion of their farmlands,continuous killings,raping and other atrocities committed by Fulani herdsmen in their community.The protesters blocked East-West Road in Delta,rendering many travellers including Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 5, Abubakar Mohammed, who was traveling to Yenagoa, Bayelsa State for an official assignment stranded.Below is what Gbadura wrote

An eyewitness at the scene learned that the aggrieved women, numbering over 100, besieged and barricaded the road during the early hours of Wednesday with planks of wood, leaves, tires and chairs'
